What’s happening at La Fortezza this week?
Melinda Beck’s Art Opening and Part
For our artist-in-residence, Melinda Beck, the culmination of three weeks here at La Fortezza was creating a beautiful collection inspired by her stay in Italy. On the evening of July 27th, we held an art opening and party featuring her artwork with friends from around the world.
Melinda created a beautiful interactive environment for our guests to enjoy while they sipped Hugo Spritzes and enjoyed delicious nibbles made by our very own chef, Martina. Our friend Ennio cooked up some ribs on the open fire in our field, and the gelato truck was a big hit.
It was a glorious evening, with beautiful weather and the perfect mix of people. Melinda sold many pieces from this collection and mingled with guests throughout the night. It was really perfect. Thanks for the memories. What a beautiful summer event.
