WHAT’S HAPPENING: The rose garden is poppin’

This is my favorite time of year. The rose garden has its first burst of color. It’s just stunning. We planted our vegetable garden. This year we have a huge variety of vegetables.

Gianluca, our groundskeeper, was surprised when I intervened this year and told him we needed more. So, we are growing several types of squash, including my beloved pumpkin. If you followed along last year, you know I had 3 amazing and beautiful pumpkins, which I roasted off before we departed in October. We have a dozen tomato plants with many varieties of tomatoes, arugula, and CILANTRO, thanks to seeds I brought from the US. shhhh, don’t tell anybody. But I love my Mexican nights and thought, why not? Thanks Frank for all the beautiful photos.x
