What’s happening at La Fortezza this week: My upcoming dessert cookbook photo shoot prep.

This week is just about my cookbook. On September 15th, we will start photographing 60 recipes for the cookbook. It’s an arduous and meticulous process. Producing a cookbook is all about attention to detail. I have been producing photo shoots for 30 years. It is something I love to do. It’s a military operation with strict methods and crucial timelines. Scheduling is key. Being a producer stylist involves not only creativity but time management skills. Since every day needs to be seamless, instructions must be precise, and the team must clearly understand all expectations. I have a great team, so I hope everything will move smoothly. The photographer Cliodhna Prendergast's work is incredible, and her vision is clear. Her work is exactly what I was looking for. Dynamic yet simple.

I will show you the behind-the-scenes as we shoot the cookbook in mid-September. Stay tuned. For now, prep continues.
